I Will Arise

You get piano/SATB and vocal score pdfs, mp3 of the recording, piano-only mp3, and four rehearsal track mp3s. Peter and Mary Alice Amidon have always loved this traditional melody, so much so that it shows up twice in this Choral Sheet Music Store, both in “I Will Arise” and in “Watts Cradle Hymn”.  Peter adapted the first verse a bit from the original and wrote the second and third verses. The Guilford (VT) Community Church, UCC Choir, for which this arrangement was written, often sings this song during Lent.  Lyrics below.

I Will Arise
